Sarah started her interest with horses when going to Jo Shaws' after school. Jo was a trainer and assisted Sarah in gaining her drivers licence.

From there, Sarah gained my interest by, getting me to look at a horse while she was working for G. Marriott. The horse was a yearling which later we named 'Brighter image' pictured above.

After about twelve months, I started to look at properties so as to be able to look after her ourselves. We settled in Coolup, WA. 110 km south of Perth. Our interest grew from then on. Myself, being born and bred on a farm, used to animals, breeding etc. we leased a mare, 'Sub Par' and bred her to "Abyss Gold'. The result being a filly, who now is named 'Heron Gold', born October 2001. Her stable name being 'Ebony'. Ebony is now coming up to Trials and demonstrates some ability. Unfortunately, the ability is not there. She is retired. 

In the pursuing 3 years at heron Park, I have developed the 5 acre property to stable, paddock and work our pacers. We have a 425m track, 9 paddocks of good grass, a lot of which is year round as the soil is of a good loam type on clay. 6 stables with walk in and out yards. Our licence is for 10 horses. The work is now complete.

During these three years, we have discussed where we want to go. Subsequently, we have gained another 2 mares for breeding:

'Sands A Misty' is by 'Sands A Flyin' from 'Salinas Magic' by 'Kentucky'.

'Grand Rose' by Armbro Aussie' from 'Little Rich Girl'. She is a full sister to 'Jamin' who is still racing in NSW, currently with earnings over $279,708: 86 starts 37 wins and 21 placings.

Jasmin has been named so, because Jamin her Aunt, and the S shaped star, I inserted making jaSmin.                     

Grand Rose was mated to'Gold Glover' in 2003 who is standing in WA. See below in 'Photo Gallery' for foal.

The 2005 season, Grand Rose was mated to Kinney Hanover and has produced a colt. 

Sands a Misty was mated to 'Caprock' in 2004, also standing in WA. She has produced a filly.

Brighter Image, now retired we put to 'Day In A Life', who is standing in New Zealand. This foal was lost.

The 2006 season, Brighter Image has been mated to Northern Luck, standing in WA.

What's news.

Property and stables now finished. New foals due in October and December.

Sarah has now returned from Victoria and trained from home for a short while. She is now having a spell away working.

I semi-retire in March and do some part time to help feed everyone..

Last years foal is still pictured below a few hours old to one day and the latest at 4 months, pictured in the photo gallery, is a filly by Gold Glover from Grand Rose, a full sister to Jamin, born on 16 Sept 2004.

Rose this year is going to Kinney Hanover. She produced a colt

Jamin herself is now in foal to Astreos and will retire shortly.

Sands A Misty is also finally mated with Caprock producing a filly.

Brighter Image lost her foal but is mated again to Northern Luck.
